A key club policy of the Tokyo Hibernian is to be always looking to improve the team so we’re always looking to welcome new players who can help us to do that. This means players who:
- Are capable of playing at a high amateur level. We already have a large squad of established players so we want to bring in new players who are at least as good as, preferably better than the players we already have.
- Want regular football. We play most weekends throughout the year mostly on a Saturday afternoon sometimes on a Sunday. Our regular players will clock up more than 30 appearances a year.
- Will be good social members. We always go for a few beers after a game, and try to hold more organized social events throughout the year. We always do well on the field when the social life of the club is good. Language is never a barrier to having a good time when we go out together. We have non Japanese players who speak good Japanese, and Japanese players who are comfortable in English but we also have Japanese players with very limited English who can still enjoy themselves both on and off the pitch. Attitude is more important than language ability
